Viola ~ Party Dress Alternate
Eternal Sonata

Inspiration: I was invited to a wedding of a good friend of mine and the bride requested that I wear my Viola costume. Since I can’t sit in Viola and it seemed a little inappropriate, I decided to design my own outfit based off of what I thought Viola might wear to such an occasion. This is what I came up with.

Materials/Construction Details: The dress was purchased on ebay. I picked it for the color and because I loved how it was asymmetrical and had pretty blue tulle at the bottom. I got the shoes at a thrift store. They have zig-zags and bows so I thought they were appropriate for Viola’s style (she has so many zig-zags on her original costume!) The tights were bought from We Love Colors in the same color I used for her first costume. The other pieces (choker, wrist bands, ankle cuffs, and waist tie) were made and designed by me using materials I had left over. I tried to incorporate as much as Viola’s style as I could.
