Inspiration: Outlaw Star is one of my favorite animes of all time! I saw that Fenchurch Dent was selling her Melfina costume and I had to have it!

Materials/Construction Details: I purchased this costume, so I can’t say much about its construction. Please see Fenchurch Dent’s Facebook page for more information. However, I can say that I love her choice of materials for the cape. It draped wonderfully and has a nice variety of textures.

Wig: I purchased a Punky wig from Amphigory for this costume. I had to trim the back shorter and cut and style the bangs. I used light heat from a hair dryer to calm some of the spikiness of the wig down until I was satisfied with the fluffy factor.
