Felicia ~ Yukata Version
Cross Edge
Inspiration: Felicia’s yukata variant from Cross Edge is just too adorable. I love the little pink paw prints on the robe and the gradient coloring on her bow. Since I’ve already made her paws and wig, I thought I should get some more use out of them!
Materials/Construction Details: The yukata is made out of yellow cotton and I followed a basic pattern, except for the sleeves, which I belled out a bit more. The little pink paws are were cut out of pink cotton and appliqued on. I cut a slit in the back of the robe for the tail.
The obi was made out of the same pink cotton as the paw prints and the bow was made out of white cotton that was gradient dyed from pink to green. The finished result reminded me of a watermelon. For information on how the paws and other components were made, please see my original Felicia costume description.
Wig: The wig is from a store in Las Vegas…made for drag. Despite that, it’s a great wig for Felicia. I love this wig and this is the third costume I’ve worn it with!
How did you get the paw prints on Felicia’s yukata? Did you stamp them on with acrylic paint?
